Privacy Policy

Last Updated: November 13, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to FluidCal PRO. This application is designed to help technicians perform and track fluid meter calibrations, pressure tests, and hose tests. Your privacy is critically important to us. This policy outlines how your data is handled when you use this application.

2. The Core Principle: Your Data is Your Own

FluidCal PRO is a "local-first" application. This means that all data you enter into this app stays on your device.

We do not collect, transmit, share, or store any of your personal information or calibration data on any external servers, databases, or third-party services.

3. What Data We "Handle"

The app "handles" data only by saving it to your device's browser. This data includes:

  • Technician Information: "Technician Name" and "Equipment/Meter ID".

  • Calibration Inputs: COTE values, temperatures, pressures, K-Factors, and any notes you enter.

  • Run History: All logged calibration runs, test points, and test logs across all modules (Flow Meter, Pressure Gauge, Hose Test, PRV).

4. How Data is Stored

All data listed above is stored exclusively in your web browser's Local Storage (localStorage).

  • Local Storage is a standard, secure file on your own device (computer, phone, or tablet) that only your browser can access for this specific app.

  • This data never leaves your device through this application.

  • The data is saved so that your inputs and run history are still available the next time you open the app, even after closing your browser or shutting down your device.

5. How to Delete Your Data

You have full control over your data. You can delete all information saved by FluidCal PRO at any time by:

  • Clearing your browser's cache

  • Deleting the "Site Data" or "Cookies and Site Data" for this specific application through your browser's settings.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the application.
